Growing up between Windsor and Detroit shaped his perspective. It taught him how different two lives can be even a few miles apart, and that contrast drives his storytelling. Aahmi creates work that lets viewers step into other people’s realities the struggle, the beauty, the rawness exactly as they are.

He thinks fast, creates instinctively, and follows the flow of ideas wherever they lead. His characters often wrestle with environment, identity, or quiet psychological weight, whether they come from privilege or hardship.
